Q: How do I browse through Uncle Jesse's Photo Album?
To browse through Uncle Jesse's Photo Album, just click on the Photo Album on Uncle Jesse's Photo Album Home page. This will take you to an index page where you have a list of topics. On that page you will be able to see how many posts are already made in each topic by looking under the column titled, "Number of Posts."
Choose the topic you wish to view by clicking on the corresponding page number beside of it. This will then take you to a listing of all the posts on that topic/subject. You can now choose any post you wish to view by clicking on the "title" of that post. Once you have made your choice a new page will open with the post you wished to see. If there have been any pictures submitted with the post, you will see thumbnail images. Click each thumbnail to look at an enlargement of that image along with any description that was posted to describe the image. Also there will be the actual post made by the poster. If it is in category 9 or 10 there may even be a link you can click on to look at merchandise for sale.
We have tried to make Uncle Jesse's Photo Album as simple as possible to navigate so our friends and family spend more time enjoying the Photo Album and not so much time trying to figure out how to get through it, so have fun and join us by submitting your own postings and become part of the family!!

Posting to Uncle Jesse's Photo Album is pretty simple and should go trouble free, but some problems do arise and if they do, be sure and let us know so we can take steps to make sure you have fun while looking through Uncle Jesse's Photo Album. Here we go, let's post up a nice one for everyone to enjoy!!
On any page, you will see a link in the menu at the top of the page to "Create A Post." If you are viewing a certain topic and you want to post in that topic it will pre-select the topic for you when you get to the form, but if you decide you want to post to a different topic, all you have to do is change the topic selection in the form to the topic you feel better suits your post.
Remember, to submit a post to Uncle Jesse's Photo Album, it is a two step process!!
Step 1: Images
If you don't want to submit any images, just ignore that yellow part of the form and go right ahead to step 2! Uncle Jesse's Photo Album will accept up to 4 images for you to post. Each image has a special area for it's own description. You can submit only .jpg or .jpeg images. OK, let's walk through the process now....
The image section is the first step of the submission phase. You can upload up to 4 .jpg(or .jpeg) pictures. The software will resize your image and create thumbnails so you don't have to worry about any of that.
To get started, just click on the "Browse" button to select an image file from your computer you wish to upload. Then enter a description in the box below it, to describe your image. Then click "Upload My Image and It's Description." Repeat the process to upload up to a total of 4 images. The software will help you keep track of how many you have loaded and how many more you can load if you want. If you upload all four images, the yellow box disappears to avoid confusion. But you don't have to upload 4 images, you can only upload 1, 2 or 3 if you want, just skip over the yellow part and put in the rest of your information below it.
Step 2: Personal Information and the Message
OK, now that we have entered all the images we wanted, it is time to finish entering our information so we can submit to the "Family Patriarch" for approval. Just remember, we are a family oriented web site and all posts must be submitted to the Family Patriarch for review before they can be approved, so your posts are not instantly going to show up on the web site, it may take a few hours to be approved and you will be sent a message advising you when it has been approved, or you will be sent an email letting you know if it was denied and possibly why it was denied.
OK, here we go........
First thing to do is choose your topic you want to post in that best suits your content. If you entered the submit area from a topic you were viewing, the topic has been pre-selected for you, if you decide you want to post in a different topic, all you have to do is change the topic.
Next, we just put in the name we want to be known by and an email address that is valid...........
Now we choose a topic for our post. There are a couple things to keep in mind about the Title.
1. The Title is limited to 100 characters, this includes letters, number AND spaces. Just watch the box at the end of the line and it will count down for you as to how many you have left. You can't go over cause once you reach "0" it will not accept any more characters.
2. The title you choose can not be identical to any others, so choose one specific to your post. If you choose one that is already taken you will receive an error and have to re-choose another title.
Now it is time to enter your message........
If you are posting an item for sale on Page 9 or Page 10, there will be a special line to post URL's for your item so it will be clickable.
Your posting in the "Your Message" is limited to 1000 characters, and the little box below the text area will help you keep count of how many you have left. You can't go over because once you reach "0" it will not accept any more characters.
Finally, the bottom of the form is pretty self-explanatory, just pay attention to these few details....
1. As it says in Red, you can not submit this form unless you have read, and agree to abide by our rules for this Photo Album. By clicking the circle beside of the statement, you indicate that you have read the rules and agree to abide by them.
2. The white numbers in the black box is just a small image that has become necessary because of people who want to SPAM forms by sending out "bots" to submit any where and every where they can. Just type the letters you see in that box into the little text box beside of it, so it will know you are not a "bot" trying to SPAM our Photo Album.
3. Finally, just click the button at the bottom and send your information to the Family Patriarch for review.
You will be taken to a page with a message letting you know how things went. If something happened and it doesn't submit, just "X" off the page and start all over. Sometimes there may be a small miscommunication between your computer and the server that can be easily solved by trying it all over one more time. But if that still doesn't help, feel free to let us know. If you receive any errors, or have problems you can't solve, please feel free to use the email addresses listed for Tech Support and we will try our best to help you solve any problems. Be sure and let us know of any messages you received (copying and pasting into your email preferably) so we can find out exactly what went wrong.

Q: I just made a post but I can't see it, Why not?
All posts must be reviewed by the Family Patriarch before they can be viewed in the album. Please check your email frequently and you will receive a notice from the Family Patriarch letting you know of their decision. If your submission was approved, you will be given a link so you can see how it looks in the Photo Album. If your submission was denied you may get an explanation as to why it was and any instructions to fix the problem so we can get you submitted with the rest of the family!!

Q: My Post has been changed from what I originally posted, What happened?
Sometimes, we want to submit a post, but it has something wrong that we feel needs to be corrected, so the Family Patriarch may make those changes and approve your post rather than denying it. If you feel the changes made do not reflect your original intent, then write to the email address "General Questions" and voice your concerns. If we can't resolve the issue to suit you, we will gladly remove your post and you can start over.

It is rare that any post would be denied unless it was out of taste. If you were denied and were not given an explanation in the email notice, write to "General Questions" email listed at the top of this or any page and request an explanation. There are a few things we can not allow, so if your post fell in these categories then you will know why.....
1. SPAM: Spamming will not be tolerated. This is a family oriented web site and we want to keep it for fun and good times. Spamming doesn't allow that, so in order to keep that out of our Photo Album we will deny any post considered as such.
2. FLAMING: We want Uncle Jesse's Photo Album to stay friendly and safe for the whole family to enjoy, so flaming, arguing or abuse of any type will not be tolerated.
3. ADULT CONTENT: As we have previously stated, this is a family oriented web site, and we have visitors of all ages who want to enjoy good, clean fun without the obscenities, "out of taste" images or the like.So keep it clean and fun.
